A test kitchen with a soft spot for supper.
Dine American Table began as a shared notebook among a few home cooks in the United States who wanted classic recipes that actually worked.
What we do
Every recipe here is cooked at least three times in a home kitchen, not a professional lab, using ingredients and equipment a typical U.S. household has. If a recipe asks for a specific pan or technique, it's because we found it genuinely matters.
Alongside recipes, we write short notes on regional American cooking. We're not a review aggregator and we don't accept payment for placement or praise.
How a recipe gets published
A recipe starts as a rough idea, gets adjusted over several attempts, and only goes live once someone other than the original cook can follow the written instructions and get the same result.
Where we're based
Dine American Table is based in the United States, and our recipes use U.S. measurements, ingredient availability, and appliances. Cooking elsewhere? Most conversions are simple, and you're welcome to ask.
